»Ambush Gallery – Alterations, Disturbances and Rips

Alterations, Disturbances and Rips – The cut-up aesthetic, the chopping up of found imagery and the reshuffling of the fragments, invests new meaning in familiar imagery. Themes of anarchy, instability and heterogeneity emerge as everyday images are deconstructed and reassembled.
Sampling and tapping into the ubiquitous scraps of modern life the exhibition suggests an investigation around the Collage medium and the various techniques employed by the 5 participating artists.
Featuring artists KAREEM RIZK, MAURO PALMIERI, JOEL LAMBETH, DANILO BRANDAO and HILARY FAYE.

“We are storytellers, who believe in touching people’s hearts with what we create. Our work, which is also our passion, helps us define ourselves in this world. In every character we make, in every universe we imagine, there is a piece of us in there somewhere. Whatever medium the end product would be in–print, online, broadcast, or installation– to us what’s paramount is the story, and the message.”
»Jeremy Geddes – Warmer Air

Really liking the new painting by Jeremy Geddes.
You can purchase a Signed editioned giclee print here, available until 7pm today.
“This is a small and fast (for me) painting, measuring at 37 * 58 cm. It doesn’t have the detail of my large paintings due to it’s size, but I think the brushwork at the micro level is perhaps some of the best I’ve done.
It is also one of the last cosmonaut paintings I’m planning on producing (there’s one or two more in the pipeline), although future work should be evolution of those themes, rather than a radical departure.”
You can check out an old interview we did with Jeremy here.
